Arrival
Faro airport (ca. 75 min.) and Lisboa Airport (ca.4h) are the closest airports. The prices vary depending on airline and saison. Faro is the destination of many low priced charter-airlines. Other possibilities are the flight to Sevilla or Jerez (Spain).There are a few transportation options from Faro to our surfcamps:
For both camps you need to come to Lagos first. Only if you want to go by rental car to the surf-house in Arrifana. You go direct.
By bus or train
At the entrance of the airport terminal you will find a taxi stand and a bus stop of the busline EVA. With the bus (line 14 or 16 about 1,50€) or cap (9€) you reach the Bus central station Avendia or the train station of Faro. Both stations are located in the centre and only a couple hundred feet fare from one another.
The trip from Faro to Lagos by bus (5€) takes about 2h by train (6€) about 1,5h.
From Lisboa it is also possible to go by bus (14€) or by train (24€) to Lagos.

Car
Follow the highwayfrom Faro first to Portimão, than to Lagos/Vila do Bispo/Sagres. Enter Lagos. At the first roundabout go left downhill into town, take a right at the roundabout with chairs in the middle. Straigt over the next roundabout, left into the Rua Acores and again right in Rua Dr. João de Deus. Third street left is the Rua Illha da Madeira. The Kite-House is #20.
Foot
From the train or bus station you walk to the center of Lagos. If you don´t know where ask for the casa amarela (green house). Enter the street left of the green house, the Rua Infante de Sagres, walk uphill until the Rua das Escolas Primarlas. At the end turn left into the Rua Dr. João de Deus, first street right is the Rua Illha da Madeira. Knock on the door of # 20 and bring some beers.
If you want to go to the Surf-House...
From and to Lagos we offer a free transfer at fixed times. You only have to inform us of your arrival times. If you arrive by train we will pick you up in front of the train station entrance, if you come by bus, at the entrance of the bus station.
If you want to make some independent sightseeing or would like to be more flexible we recommend a rental-car which is relatively cheap in Portugal (about 120€/week). We can book a rental-car for you which will be delivered to the airport on your arrival.
To the Surf-House/Arrifana
By Car
From Faro
The distance from Faro to Arrifana is about 110 km. From Faro you take the A22 direction Lisboa/Portimao. At the end of the A22 you follow the street to Aljezur (20 min). Before you enter Aljezur you take a left to Vale da Telha. On top of the hill go left again and follow the street to vales Next street right. You reach a roundabout. Follow the signs Refelexionista/Massagista after 200m you will see a white and yellow house wit a sign "activelement". Welcome, you have reached the surf-house.
From Lisboa
From the airport you take the A2 Sul direction south. You reach the A22 after about 230 km and go towards Lagos/Portimao. Now follow like descript above. The toll for the highway is about 20€ oneway.
By taxi
A taxi from Lagos to Arrifana is about 30€
